Elections have consequences; what the fuck does it matter anyway what the official book, flower, moonshine is?

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

You say that now. But, c'mon, man. The official bird of Wyoming is the western meadowlark.
    Look at this fucker:
    upload_2016-4-5_9-54-15.jpeg
That birds a total dick. That's a shitty-ass bird right there. Let's face it. It's a fatter robin dressed in Steelers colors. C'mon, Wyoming. THIS is how you represent yourself?

And, if Wyoming just didn't have any birds we could say, OK. Fine. You did the best you could with the hand you were dealt. But that's not the case. Because, look up in Wyoming and you can see this bad-ass roaming the skies:
Now that's a motherfucking bird right there! This bad-ass eats the western medowlark for lunch when he's not posing on fence posts and tree branches like the total boss that he is.
And, they might LITERALLY eat the western meadowlark for lunch. Because in addition to eating small and medium-sized rodents, they also sometimes like a challenge and eat other birds. Because this majestic flier of Big Sky country doesn't take no gruff from nobody. That's the type of giant-ass balls you want representing the fourth-largest state in the union.

So, yeah. That's what happens when people decide these things don't matter. You have to look yourself in the mirror knowing you're stuck with this punk-ass representing you:

When you could have had a true heir to the dinosaur's throne:

    Doesn't matter my ass!

Trump's doesn't know anything. Hillary is th most qualified candidate ever.

But, so many of their policies are similar. How can this be?

Right. Jesus is the official deity of Texas. What difference would it make?

    They're both protectionists.

Hillary is now against NAFTA and the TPP.

And, when she says she's for trade deals, as long as they protect American workers, well... that's pretty similar to pretending you are for late term abortion bans, as long as their are exceptions for the health of the mother.

The point isn't that his policies are bad. It is that he doesn't know actually know anything about the policies that he is espousing.

You have to stop. He demonstrates again and again that he has no grip on issues. He watches "the shows."

    Yes. OK.

So, how does Hillary end up with the same policies?

Are her informed policy decisions somehow better than his, even when they end up in the same place?

Kinda surprised this didn't pop up among that faction of sj.com that's long demonstrated such heroic (and, it should go without saying, completely disinterested) concern for autoworkers' jobs ... The NYT concludes that NAFTA might have been a net benefit for the U.S. car industry AND ITS WORKERS.

I bet that me and any random person you can pick from the lunch rush in downtown Chicago have arrived at the "same place" on some issues.
