Someone is having a bad day.

 

What part of the GOP agenda is aimed at helping poor black voters? What policies will Ted Cruz or Trump pursue that will help poor black voters?

 

I know it doesn't offend you, but the media is truly not doing there job.

Bernie is treated like a little puppy, who deserves praise for everything he does -- and is super cute!

And, that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the very same media who was portraying Trump as a someone who doesn't know anything, and his voters as dummies following a bankrupt messenger.

 

The entire GOP agenda. That's the answer. You may not agree with the answer, but that's the answer.

Look, you can disagree with Republican policy, but it's not fair to frame the question in this way. Republicans don't claim that their policies will help specific groups. They claim their policies will help everyone.

Democrats have made promises to poor black voters. They've been elected based on those promises. They've failed to deliver on those promises.

Shouldn't they be held to account for this at some point?

Shouldn't we question the wisdom of people who continue to vote for candidates making the same empty promises?

 

Your belief in the bias of the media is actually a result of your worldview being clouded by your own biases and the media not reflecting them. It's as true for politics as it is true for sports.

 

The media isn't "portraying" Trump as someone who doesn't know anything. They are asking him specific questions and he's failing to answer them ... because he doesn't know anything.

I don't necessarily disagree with you that the media has not vigorously challenged Bernie on policy, but you understand why there might be a difference in the reaction to Bernie's idealistic policies and Trump's racist, xenophobic, sexist rhetoric, right?

 

Never said that. But, assuming you're white, this post ain't exactly an argument against it, quite frankly.

 

This is the kind of thinking that allows liberals to blissfully while away the days as they tacitly support pandering policies INTENDED to keep minorities in their place.
