I've never been for political stunts showing candidates are "just like us."

But I can 100 percent say the MetroCard swipe thing isn't going to hurt Clinton with New Yorkers. Anyone who rides the subway knows the card scanners are awful and it often takes many swipes.

That being said, no one thinks she's riding the subway, either. So it's a wash.

 

Yep. I'd say I have to swipe at least twice more often than getting through on one. I use the subway 2-3 times a week.
