My closest friend's younger daughter is going to be announcing an engagement any day now (groom-to-be asked permission last week). I figure my friends will drop $15K to $20K on the wedding. This after they paid close to $80K for her college at Big State down the way. I feel kind of bad for her ... she seems to be doing well in her career. No matter how much success she has, though, we all know she can't take credit for any of it.

 

Yeah, I figure I'm in position to take credit for anything my daughter ever accomplishes, too. She should have considered that when she was turning down all of those full scholarships.

 

Ouch! Did she really? Leaving you on the hook for what she ultimately did choose?

 

At times like these, I try to picture Baron sitting there wondering why he wastes so much time on this bunch of dumbasses who can't pick up his clear-as-day point.
