I'm still trying to figure out why "Deportations To Begin" is a bad thing. We used to deportate illegal aliens all the time when we were a great country.

 

Well, we still deport people. It was at a high of 438,000-plus in 2013. But deporting 11-plus million isn't possible, and pretty much everyone knows that.

 

So the headline was inaccurate. Hope the Globe runs a correction.

 

There's also a whole bunch of stories missing their jumplines.

 

It's very doable at a reasonable price, actually. Make the penalty severe enough -- 10 years in prison or something like that -- and watch them all go back on their own.

To be fair, the Clinton camp (or at least my contact in it) would respond that she was ignored/marginalized by Obama, who was the real incompetent, and her job as SOS was to carry out his policy. I can actually believe that. The President does not seem like much of an advice taker or open to disagreement/criticism. Still, doesn't that then wipe out a huge chunk of her resume and her case to be elected? A term plus as a NY senator? What did she do there? An unelected resident at the White House? Doesn't she the. Become Rubio or Obama plus a famous husband?
