Speaking of those young idealists ... Ohio State's administration this week pilot-tested a novel approach to dealing with disruptive protesters: Tell to move on or they'll be violating employees' safe spaces, in which case they will be forcibly removed and expelled.

What was preventing huge premium hikes before the ACA?

Guessing insurance companies didn't want bad PR based on a smaller amount of revenue going towards providing health care if companies did it before the ACA. Like it or not, it does cost money to provide health care to people who are sick. The ACA pretty much guaranteed health care would be utilized on a greater basis because of the ban on refusing coverage based on pre-existing conditions.

Companies always were able to hike premiums. The tax breaks are the price to be paid for making the companies serve everyone instead of allowing them to refuse customers for pre-existing conditons.

Was that the same market that saw a 131 percent increase in the cost of employer-sponsored family coverage over 10 years?

Yeah, I'm not buying the Aetna guy crying poor mouth and they need to hike premiums. From February:

Aetna earnings jump on growth in Medicare, Medicaid health plans

... and the company is looking to shell out $37 billion to buy Humana. If it's "unsustainable" at present, seems odd to be shelling out 37 bill to buy more policies. Bottom line: Bullshit.

Bingo. Ask 100 Russians what candidate they are most scared of, and the answer will be "Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton.''
