Quant, I wouldn't want you to break your pledge, but in general, the efficacy of a donation decreases the further up the election food chain you go. Donate $100 to a candidate for state rep or city council and you're really helping said candidate. $100 worth of man-hours as a volunteer for Clinton would help her much more than the money.

I am starting to think that the first Clinton-Trump debate is going to pull a Super Bowl rating.

    I can't imagine being Trump's debate coach.

Trump takes credit for the almost-universally mocked Budweiser->America branding ploy.

I'm just curious about how he does and how Americans react. Obviously, as an orthodox debater, he's downright awful. He doesn't know anything. But are Americans, and not just a plurality of one party's primary voters, going to swallow "great deals" and insults?

I'm an unrepentant "Morning Joe" fanboi, but I will admit that they simply never get into poll methodology at all. It's nice that they get them out there, but, yeah, there's typically more to the story when something seems off.

I'm also curious how it gets covered. I could see him being judged against super low expectations, where "Didn't whip it out on stage" or "Only whipped it out for, like, 3 seconds"gets judged as a good performance by him.

Hmmmmm ... Apparently you have relatively faint memories of the Biden-Ryan debate.

Wait, there are people who DO remember vice presidential debates?

Surely there will be a one-off "Anybody But Donald" PAC starting up that you could give to, although I suppose they'll still gleefully sell their list.
