Yeah, it's got everything I like in a show - 1.) Great stories, 2.) Weird twists and diseases and 3.) Really attractive women

House can be decent and it's well done, but I hate how some ridiculous-ass scenario gets solved and wrapped up in a nice bowtie by episode's end. It's like 7th Heaven with a brain and rancor.

And the doctors breaking into the house is silly. I was watching last night, and I had never seen that before. I turned to my wife and said, "What are they? Fucking cops? This is bullshit!"

And I know House is supposed to be a cocksucker, but he's not the kind of cocksucker I can admire. He's really just a cocksucker.

But see I think it's refreshing he's not some cooky-cutter, do good, Boy Scout type. The man's seriously flawed, he's cynical and a smart-ass, he's not politically correct and he doesn't kiss any ass.

Great show made even better since Bob Baumhauer's college girlfriend joined the cast last season.

The last couple episodes of the year were very interesting (SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT)

OK that should give the newcomers to the show ample warning. :D Anyway, the last two episodes made it pretty clear House harbored some feelings for both Morrison and Cuddy. It will be very interesting to see where those storylines go next year.

Actually, Sela Ward was just a guest star, and she's since been written off.

A brief character rundown since I obviously love this show.

House: Serious antisocial genius with a disability. He had an infarction in his right leg and nearly lost it. He was in terrible pain and put into an induced coma. His then-girlfield, Stacy, had Dr. Lisa Cuddy perform an operation that would allow him to keep his leg, but with consequences. He now lives in chronic pain for which he takes a shitload of Vicodin and must walk with a cane. Stacy left him becasue he blames her for his condition. House has been described by reviewers as a modern, but medical Sherlock Holmes.

Dr. Lisa Cudd: House's boss as the hospital administrator. She tolerates his behavior because he can solve tough diagnoses that no one else can. Also, she's know House since college and is in ways guilty about his condition.

Dr. James Wilson: Perhaps House's only real friend. Although he also tolerates much of House's antics, he does call him on his bullshit. He is the Watson to House's Holmes complex. Personally, he is a screw-up and has been left by his third wife.

Dr. Eric Foreman: House hired him for his street-smarts, but Foreman is a gifted neurologist. House often taunts him with issues of race and his criminal background. They fight constantly, but House respects him despite his refusal to show it.

Dr. Allison Cameron: One screwed up chick. She's attracted to the damaged, which is why she married a man with a terminal illness and is attracted to House. Her past is often the most sketchy of all the characters. While she is smart, she rarely shows a spine as she won't fight for her diagnosis and can't confront patients with difficult issues.

Dr. Robert Chase: A doctor who doesn't want to be a doctor. He's the son of a famous Australian doctor and he hates daddy so. He blames his father for the death of his mother, and perhaps for leaving the seminary to become a doctor just like daddy. He could be a great doctor, but he tends to show House some hero-worship and is developing some of the same bad habits when dealing with his work and patients.

Good show. The medical issues are a bit formulaic, but it's the subplots of the episodes between the lead characters that provide the overall arc of the show. Can't wait to see what they do next year.

Great run-down, House. Well done. I have loved the show since episode one. I think it's one of the best on TV.

I've got season one on DVD -- a gift for x-mas. And it's odd. I won't watch any of the new episodes because I don't know when I'll be free to watch it and don't want to miss anything.
I'll wait for Season 2 to come out on DVD so I can watch them in order.
