As a matter of fact, you should read the story. There isn't one instance of a parent going to the coach. Santos' dad said his daughter went to the coach.

And, gee, you think some of the players might have known their teammate was fucking the coach and then playing more than her skills would suggest she should?

I'm not playing oop here. You two back the mommies and daddies to your heart's content.

    LOL.

I don't really see what the controversy is here. The two sides are "the coach was fucking his point guard, and that's a big deal" and "the coach was fucking his point guard? And that's a big deal?"

I'm fairly comfortable with the position I've staked out.

Why? This is not a case of a parent trying to interfere with ongoing team matters. The coach is gone. The player is also now gone. It's purely about past tense matters. And, from what I gather, it's not a case of an overly-intrusive parent, instead some reporter went to him and asked about this scandal and he gave an honest answer.

Why should we disapprove? The guy responded with a substantive answer that gave a journalist an article with some actual meat people might want to read. Isn't that better than the no-comment or clichéd non-answer bullshit?

That story doesn't leave a whole lot of doubt about the player in question.

I'm sorry, LTL. You didn't get the last word.

You could answer Stoney, whose point is well-thought and very good.

    But ... word

This is what makes this message board great.

I don't feel the need to answer either one of you. If I had, I definitely would have. I have my opinion; you have yours. I promise you, you won't get a stiffy by swaying me over to your side of this.

Damn, I thought everybody wore out three pages ago after bullying Baron.
