Thanks for the insight. I vaguely recall the name, but I didn't know a thing about Baddeley until I heard yesterday that he won down under at such a young age.

Has anyone else noticed that when Nike give Tiger some variation of not quite red (ie. pink, salmon) to wear on sunday that he never wins?

Johnny Miller's 63 was an amazing accomplishment, but must NBC show us highlights of it EVERY freaking day? We get it already.

I don't mind this that much; it was an amazing round and the signal for the USGA to on occasion get ridiculous in its setups, so it has significance on numerous fronts.

Unlike Golf Channel, at least they're giving credit to Larry Nelson for winning at Oakmont in '83 when they talk about past U.S. Open champions at Oakmont. Did anyone else notice this; that when GC promoted its Open coverage, pointing out every champion at Oakmont (Jones, Hogan, Nicklaus, Miller, Els, even Sam Parks Jr.) save Nelson?

Its weakass excuse... we only had 30 seconds. Ridiculous.

Larry Nelson is one of the classiest gentlemen in the game and a three-time major champion... and he continues to get crapped on by people in the game who should know better.

That was a nice tournament for a while.

So much for Baddeley not being rattled playing with Tiger today. Lousy start. Triple bogey.

Does this still count as Tiger coming from behind? They've been on the course for 10 minutes and he's already in the lead.

Good gosh. Baddeley handled the pressure well.

Coming back for single-bogey ... I thought that was a completely impossible situation for him before he even settled over the putt. Just too delicate a shot for someone coming in all adrenaline-pumped.
