Uecker's stalker nabbed in AZ

I didn't think it was flip...I thought it was contrasting the seriousness of restraining orders against the backdrop of relatively meaningless exhibition games.

 

The only possible good news for Uecker here is that his stalker is go ugly he might be able to spot her 500 yards away.

 

As did I.

 

Didn't really like the lede, and thought it was a little flippant.

 

Thought it was funny, but sort of inappropriate for the subject matter.

 

As someone whose sister was stalked by her ex, I was just glad to see the cops did anything. They didn't in her case until he nearly killed her. Of course, this was a small town with Mayberry cops who once took 45 minutes to get from one side of town to the other, about two miles, after a bar fight call. They had to stop for red lights, I suppose.

That said, since the Uecker stalker was told to leave and there was no incident, I thought the lede was fine. And congrats to the cops for taking it seriously and, by appearances, handling things appropriately.

 

Fuck warnings. She's had enough warnings. Throw the bitch in cuffs.

 

Believe it or not, you're grasping at air....

 

There's a "rocket up the ass" joke somewhere in there, too. Still. I got nothin.

She was, in fact, outside at the time of her arrest.
