For what it's worth, here's what Kerry had to say:

"In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way. I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but again I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention.

"I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and was in the process of answering him when he was taken into custody. I was not aware that a Taser was used until after I left the building. I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted.''

    That was horrifying.

I'm not sure why UF campus security would shut off his mic and drag him away. I'm damn sure confused as to why they would arrest and taser him.

I am fairly sure that young Mr. Meyer has one hell of a lawsuit against the school and the security force.

No ... again you are wrong.

I brought the Dukies up as an example to counter your original claim that because the kid is likely well off and white he has an advantage that nothing will likely happen. You my friend continue to bring in the race right from the beginning.

Story says "he aspires to work in the national media." Wonderful. Sad thing is this video probably will get his foot in the door somewhere.

A fraud? What are you talking about?

At that point, police reported that ACCENT Director Max Tyroler turned off Meyer's microphone and asked police to escort him out of the auditorium, saying, "He had said enough," according to Officer Mallo's report.

    Who's Max Tyroler?

Who gave him the power to decide someone "had said enough"?

I'm sure he's the belle of the frat ball.

Story also suggests that might've been his twisted idea behind this. Bring camera, film myself as grandstanding star of stunt courageously grilling John Kerry and being persecuted by cops, put video on youtube, get noticed and big break as result.

And did it ever work, he got all the attention he hoped for plus a whole lot extra courtesy of the campus cops' moronic use of the taser.

For the 1000th time, the cops' use of the taser was warranted. He kept squirming and squirming and they couldn't get the cuffs on him.

He thought he had the right to grill Kerry AFTER the Q & A portion was over. He rushed the microphone despite that fact. They cut off his mike and told him to take a hike. Cops tried to lead him away and he started resisting. He continued resisting until he very much deserved to be tasered. Then he cried out like the pussy that he is. And when he was away from cameras, he didn't make any noise at all.

two cops tried to grab an arm and remove him. He ripped his arms away like a five year old and tried to run down the aisle. That's resisting arrest, and when you resist arrest you're basically at the mercy at the cops. That's a fact of life. Cops dont know who people are. What's a loudmouth white kid yesterday is a loudmouth white kid that's pulling out a piece and firing shots the next.
