I get your point. So why haven't they done this to that whiney bitch Cindy Sheehan?

Because she doesn't resist arrest is my guess. She lets them put the cuffs on and haul her away instead of jumping around, swinging her arms, running away and screaming.

Hey, it's a town hall meeting -- freedom of assembly, freedom of speech. You're gonna get some provocateurs in the mix, and sometimes you go a little past the time limit.

Kerry shoulda known how to handle the guy deftly. It's not exactly the first time someone was baiting him. Instead, he watched it turn into a police circus.

Problem is, Red, I think the people who put on the event have every right to ask that the kid be removed. There were cops there because John Fucking Kerry was there, so you know there's going to be a bigger security presence than is some schmoe is the speaker. The kid got real obnoxious -- "I'll ask my question" etc. blah, blah, blah. As someone mentioned up higher, the crowd cheered when he got taken away. Yes, some girl screamed when he got tasered, but my reading on that clip is that most people were glad to see his ass dragged out of there. And struggling and dropping F-bombs on the cops is about as clueless as you can get -- unless you're into S&M and enjoy that getting-tasered thing.

  5. Here's a prediction: Nothing will happen to the cops.

A cop could have shot him dead, and nothing would happen.

Google Derek J. Hale in Wilmington, an unarmed men who was shot and killed while six officers were present to arrest him.

Or Bounmy Ousa, an unarmed man in Utah who was shot while "reaching into his pocket," always a popular explanation.

Or good ol' Deputy Ivory Webb in Riverside, Calif., who told an unarmed Iraq War veteran to put his hands up, and then shot him when he complied.

This is the America we live in.

In my city, you don't mess with the cops one little bit.

Their reputation arrives five minutes before they do.

But I've seen clips of her still talking as she is taken away, and in my book that voice is so schrill it counts for disturbing the piece and resisting arrest by means of trying to make the cops go deaf.

He also elbowed one of the cops in the chest.
He got what he deserved, he was being a drama queen prick.

let me rephrase then. The best thing he has going for him is being in a social position that allows a maximum amount of people to have the least amount of negative preconceptions formed about him. If you think there are situations where appearance doesn't matter then more power to you.

That being said what I see as a slight advantage is just that slight.

Look don't get me wrong on this whole thing. I am someone who does exactly what the cops say to do and then would fight in court.

BUT . . . My point is that Kerry should have been the hero everyone says he is and taken the inicitive to let the kid finish his question and then answer it. And when the cops stepped in he should have been the hero everyone says he is and do what's right by stopping the cops from taking him away for offering his loud-mouthed question.

AS for these three cases: 1 and 3 I have no excuse for. But 2, when a cop says keep your hands where I can see them you do it. You only reach into your pocket if you want to be shot.

Was the kid over the top? Yes.

The proper way to handle this was for someone to butt in and tell him to hurry up with his question, that others would like to join or that time was an issue. If he refused to comply, he should have been escorted out of the arena. Six cops could have easily dragged his ass out of there. Then tell him if he comes back before the Senator leaves, he'll be arrested.

He did not deserved to be handcuffed, arrested or tasered.
