I think the appeal is delaying the firing. You know, "What we did isn't as bad as you think, but we are firing the guy anyway."
I'm surprised they fired Todd McNair already. Knew they'd fire him, but I thought it wouldn't happen until after the appeal.

From a selfish standpoint, I'd hate it if he weren't around to do his current duties (he is, as many have pointed out, one of the best in the biz), but in think UGA would be hard-pressed to find anyone as capable and with as much integrity and class than Claude.

And FWIW, he even gets Furman Bisher's endorsement.

Will someone explain to me or give an example of what Claude Felton does that makes him so far above and beyond other media relations guys? This is not sarcasm, but a sincere question. I've heard forever that he is the best in the business hands down over and over from so many different people that it really is striking. What's this guy's secret? I'd like to get some of whatever he has.
