He's in his late 50's, not unlike many others who are expressing their opinion on this war. I doubt that there are many such carrying a rifle other than Ukrainians who are defending their homes.

He's been doing what he could to call out and stand against Putin publicly for years, which is more than most can say.

Putin may have that leverage, but has yet to employ it. Not saying he won't eventually, but if such a move was to his advantage, I wonder why he hasn't done it.
