The African countries, which like Israel buy tons of Russian energy, are also on the sidelines in this.

Hopefully he'll be more like Ambrose Burnsidirnoff, Josef Hookeranov or Braxton Braggovitch.

Braggovitch must have been in command of Russian armies trying to take Kyiv.

Militarily I don't know how Russia will fare any better in the east. The logistics (beans and bullets) will be better just because of the proximity to the border. But command and control won't be solved overnight by some wannabe Grantsky. Nor will morale, nor will continuing equipment maintenance issues. A 2404 is just a rumor for the reds.

The Russian slaughter of civilians for now is seeming to have the opposite of the desired effect on Ukrainians. It's stiffening their resolve and has already taken any idea of a settlement off the table. Ukraine's goal now is the complete eradication of the bear from its soil. It might yet happen.

India to this point has also been tepid in its response. Aside from Europe and English speaking countries, most of the world is on the sidelines.

Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was badly injured during a March 14 shelling outside Kyiv that killed two of his colleagues, shared his first update about the extent of his injuries in a pair of social media posts on Thursday night.

“To sum it up, I’ve lost half a leg on one side and a foot on the other,” said Hall, a State Department correspondent who had been on the ground in Ukraine to cover the Russian invasion. “One hand is being put together, one eye is no longer working, and my hearing is pretty blown … but all in all I feel pretty damn lucky to be here.” He shared a photo of himself, heavily bandaged and wearing a patch over his left eye.
