If Trump went, the Trumpists wouldn’t be happy. Let’s stop trying to appease those assholes. Please.

Well, let’s think of it this way…if Putin is looking to make a last-gasp, hail Mary type move, but doesn’t want to cross the nuke threshold, what better way than to lob a couple of conventional cruise missiles on the head of the President?

How about military officials only? Keep the politicians out of it. Don’t give the Trumpist klan anything they can latch onto.

If he was going to do that, why not attack Pelosi? It’s not like an attack on Biden would be treated any differently. Or cripple us for more than a couple minutes.

Because we are a civilian government? Because we are not at war?Because the secretary of defense has already gone and they hate him? He's military. Until or unless we were at war, our civilian politicians should carry our message, not men in uniform.

Awwwww, just breaks my teeny-tiny little heart.

For more than a decade, U.S. cybersecurity experts have warned about Russian hacking that increasingly uses the labor power of financially motivated criminal gangs to achieve political goals, such as strategically leaking campaign emails.

Prolific ransomware groups in the last year and a half have shut down pandemic-battered hospitals, the key fuel conduit Colonial Pipeline and schools; published sensitive documents from corporate victims; and, in one case, pledged to step up attacks on American infrastructure if Russian technology was hobbled in retribution for the invasion of Ukraine.

Yet the third month of war finds Russia, not the United States, struggling under an unprecedented hacking wave that entwines government activity, political voluntarism and criminal action.

Hacking Russia was off-limits. The Ukraine war made it a free-for-all. — The Washington Post

We're in trouble now. The Russians have the Human Torch on their side!

It wasn’t just Pelosi, she led a congressional delegation, including the Chairman of the House Foreign Relations Comittee.

There isn't much to it. I just don't care for Pelosi. If there were a way for it to be done safely, secretly or any combination of those things, I still think it'd be good for Biden to go.
