    That's because the country is so huge and the winters so brutal that logistics are hell on an invader. I suppose the inverse is true, that their own supply lines get stretched going deep west.

    The proper way to invade Russia is like eating an elephant ... one bite at a time. Napoleon and Hitler both went for the whole 72-ounce steak and fell short.

    Interesting that Ukraine waited till now to blow the bridge. This signals that they are going for all the Tostitos, lock stock and Crimea.

    They might even bait Putin into popping a nuke.
