Are the Russians losing more assets than the Ukrainians, or has it evened out?

I find it interesting that many are saying the tide is turning toward Russia. Insurgencies almost always strengthen the longer they go on and the more support they gain.

    Let's go to the scorecard!
The Russians have lost more — about three times more, including some high-value assets — but they had a lot more to begin with. So in terms of relative strength it's hard to say. When you have 10 of something, you can afford to lose three. When you only have five of something, losing three is a fatal blow. This is also a list of just equipment losses and not personnel or civilian casualties, which are probably impossible to get more than an educated estimate on.

Near as I can tell, these totals are as of this week.
The Russians have confirmed losses — visually and independently confirmed through open source intelligence — of 12,133 vehicles. That includes more than 2,300 tanks, 90 aircraft, and 16 ships. The latter is especially stunning considering Ukraine's navy basically consisted of one ship that was scuttled at the start of the war.

Ukraine has lost 4,433 vehicles, including 649 tanks and 71 aircraft. They've officially lost 27 ships, but most are patrol boats and gunboats, not the big capital ships that Russia has lost. And again, considering Ukraine's navy was a non-entity at the start of the war, the fact that they've been able to trade punches with Russia on that front is astounding.

Don't think for a minute DoD doesn't have an equivalent comms system that blows Starlink out of the water. Not making it available to Ukraine is another issue.

Who says it hasn’t been made available to Ukraine?

If not, I’m sure the CIA and NSA have access to systems that may be one rung below the Pentagon’s, but not by much, and would still make Starlink look like child’s play.

But also, I wouldn't want to give Ukraine direct access to high-level Pentagon technology. They're not NATO and their military/support hasn't been fully vetted.

At what day does Starlink become self-aware?
