Almost wonder if the Russia troops were told they would be greeted as liberating heroes, not invaders.

 

This is from a friend's Facebook, and I freely admit that I have not vetted the numbers - but it jibes with what I know and what little I have looked. So take it with a grain of salt, but also understand that Ukraine is an agricultural breadbasket with many valuable resources to be exploited. There are a lot of reasons for Putin to covet Ukraine (control over the gas pipeline that runs through it being a prime example), but these are definitely part of what he's after.

The question I have is how to get all this to where it is needed. The Russians won't stand idly by and watch drops:

Sure sounds like a lot of "stuff" for a per capita GDP of $3,726.93 (36.6% the size of poor, impoverished Russia's).
