And that was by far his biggest role before "Hiding Out."

Three years later he was reduced to playing "3rd Frat Boy" in "Penn and Teller Get Killed."

    True Romance

Not that these are obscure, but they're on my personal fave lists.

I watched Clockers again the other night (I heard the dude the played Wee-Bey in The Wire was in it and I wanted to see who he was) and I forgot just how good it was

Silent Partner. Elliot Gould, Christopher Plummer.

The Taking of Palarm 1-2-3. Robert Shaw. I think Karl Mauldin.

Conspiracy Theory. Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts.

Three Days of the Condor. Robert Redford.

    For the comedy inspired
Kelly's Heroes. Donald Sutherland, Clint Eastwood, host of others.

Has anyone mentioned "Southern Comfort" yet?

A dozen or so Louisiana National Guardsmen get lost in the swamps in the early 1970s, run afoul of the local Cajun population, and are hunted down one-by-one. A not-so-thinly-veiled Vietnam allegory.

Great performances by Keith Carradine, Fred Ward and Powers Boothe, with Brion James as a one-armed Cajun trapper.

How about some love for "Nothing To Lose". Yeah, it's a tried buddy formula, but the whole "You shut the fuck up" scene is one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.
