Good choice, PC. I could have thrown that one in there as well. His first flick, "Who's That Knocking At My Door," with a young Harvey Keitel, is also worth seeing.

Many times. Fred Willard is hilarious, as always. And I keep singing that song that Christopher Guest (who is showing the bloodhound) for a week or so. Just the first line in the drawl: "We'll go/honky-tonkin'/down in Loosiana...."

Most of those people were in "A Mighty Wind," which I think is right up there with "Best in Show." The whole Christopher Guest crew.

  5. And "Waiting for Guffman" and, of course, "This is Spinal Tap."

    Ifilus beat me on Guffman.

21 Grams was fantastic but so depressing. Naomi Watts, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro were outstanding.

Hayden did a good job in Shattered Glass as well.

Whoa whoa whoa ... you think Donnie Darko is a cult classic because it's a movie you DON'T have to think about? It's actually a cult classic for the exact opposite reason. You can debate it forever without ever definitively saying you figured it out.

This movie and Donnie Darko share a common theme: Jena Malone is impossibly cute.

I love, love, love Life as a House. I thought it was wonderfully acted throughout.
