Perhaps don’t bring EXTRA attention to the fact the NYPD proved to be completely inept in catching this guy.

It really is striking how much of a "threat" Mangione is. I think big business realizes it. The biggest risk he poses is to becoming a folk hero. A "role model" for others wanting to strike out at the perceived unfairness of the status quo. I think that is why the feds are chiming in with their own charges and NY added the terrorism count. In reality, is there that much difference between him and a J6er? Not really.

Pretty sure they had that show of force because of concerns that someone or some group might try to free him.

Don’t alert the media when he’s landing. Problem solved.

    That’s not a security decision.

That’s everyone posing with the trophy.

Not to defend NYPD, but recall Warren Jeffs was caught during a routine traffic stop

Great way to not make a folk hero out of him. Nothing to see here.

Not great optics, granted, but this guy will eventually be scrubbing Mark David Chapman's arsehole.

I had the roto rooter on my sinuses in 2012, and the knockout drugs fucked me up for a good five days. I also had a hell of a time getting the giant slug of a bloody booger out of my right sinus, like blowing my horn for four days until it evacd my nose. It was so beautiful, I took a picture of it and sent it to friends.

... so you're the one who stuck it to the bathroom wall, then circled it with a marker proclaiming "big booger" ...
