Any idea where Tom is at now?

Looks like he's still in Greenville, NC, but as the PIO for the local school district.

Had great fun working with Tom as a student journalist, and he then hired me for a 10-month internship after my graduation from Georgia Southern in 2004. Unfortunately, he made the move to East Carolina right before that football season.

Two of the Georgia Southern interns before me are now the AD and Stetson, and another the longtime PR guy and right-hand man to Dale Jr.

John Bazemore, the prolific photographer in Atlanta and beyond, is also among the departing greats.

The great photographer Wilfredo Lee based in Miami just posted on social that he too has taken the buyout.

Friend of mine in Maine is out after 34 years.

LOT of institutional knowledge being lost with this nickel-dime purge.
