No. I wouldn't. I would probably just read the original article, take it at it's word, get a good laugh and move on. I wouldn't be reading into it as much as I am when it involves the team I have rooted for my entire life.

Tressel and Dantonio would deserve the same innocence until proven guilty. But we know that doesn't happen in sports.

Did Tressel or Dantonio ever get caught recruiting for one school before they had resigned from their job as head coach at another like what Rodriguez did?

I've rooted for them my whole life too -- and yet, I can take the blinders off...

How? Rodriguez demonstrated that he was willing to violate his contract for a competitive advantage. It absolutely applies here.

Agreed. It's about credibility and that is always relevant.

Though the Sweater Vest has a history of being blissfully ignorant about select NCAA violators within his programs.

True. I'm not saying any of these guys is 100 percent clean. I'm saying that Rodriguez has done more that we know of to earn suspicion.

Agreed 100%. I just can't resist taking a playful shot at Tress. Hell of a coach but nothing has ever really stuck to him and he is far too detail-oriented to have been unaware of the shit at Youngstown and at OSU.

No doubt. He is shady. Definitely no Lloyd Carr. But that doesn't mean that he is guilty of the recent allegations.

If he loses Saturday, then things will really, really blow up (and Slappy will be very happy that his Broncos won one of their biggest games ever).
