With the timing of all this, U-M can't cut him loose now. Too bad they're stuck with this clown for another season. Here's hoping Dave Brandon has Jim Harbaugh's cell number.

With their candy-cake creampuff schedule, Rodriguez should be fired the instant he loses his fourth game this season.

I'd take Harbaugh in a heartbeat. Look, Lloyd Carr HAD to go. He just had to... but I don't think anyone could have foreseen what happened in the last couple of years. Harbaugh could restore some roar. (Wait, that's the Lions' slogan... look how well that's worked)

Winning, and losing, can create short memories, though.

Turns out that RichRod was pulling the same "too many coaches" nonsense at WVU. What a complete and utter shock.

Well, well, well. West Virginia is facing the same type of allegations Michigan is facing, and the wrongdoing happened under RichRod and Stewart.

If I'm Clemson, Tulane, Glenville State or any other school that has ever employed DickRod, I'm nervous.

Nah... they aren't going to nick them for infractions that happened more than 10 years ago. He might be a boob, but he's not Jerry Tarkanian.

If I'm Glenville State I'm just glad anyone's heard of me.

No offense but this is why the NCAA is ridiculous -- in the grand scheme of things who gives a rat's ass that some low level entry level volunteer coaches were looking at film and, gasp, on the field at practice helping out.

    Who gives a shit, really.

These allegations are asinine and I'd defy the NCAA to find one program, just one, who doesn't have video guys, interns, GA's and other "unauthorized coaches" helping out at practice or whatever.

Dickrod may or may not be a cheating scum but if this is the best that the NCAA can do in terms of a smoking gun then they need to, as a former poster used to say, do better, much better, in order to convince me he really is this threat to the integrity of student athletes.

These are idiotic allegations and the fact that the NCAA has wasted nine minutes, much less nine months, to come up with this speaks volumes about how ridiculous that organization has become.

Oh, the NCAA is a joke, but I have no problem with them going after Rodriguez for anything they can find. Remember, this is a guy who destroyed a bunch of records on his way out at WVU, things he had no business touching once he had resigned. You've got to think there was some information in there that would have shown other violations.
