Updated thread - What TV commercial gets on your nerves?

Can I get agreement that the new Sports Center commercial featuring John Clayton as a Slayer-loving dude living in his mom's house is just creepy?

 

Nope. It's fantastic! It's only allowed to be creepy if it's unintended...this was on purpose...and hilarious!

 

Yep. It's tremendous.

 

But I do love the Eddie Money Travel Agency spot.

Yep. Pretty solid. But the other commercials for that company in general are pretty damn stupid. Especially the bodybuilder directing traffic.

 

Just started seeing this new commercial for ooma, some Vonage-type internet phone service. So creepy when the guy starts dialing and she is doing some phone-sex-type stuff and he says "Am I doing it right?" "Oh, yeah." I already hate it and I've only seen it a couple of times.

 

Yeah, I came here just to rant about that one. Wow. That is horrible.

 

The Eddie Money Geico commercial is a special kind of sad.

 

The commercial about the car that honks its horns when the tires are full - wow. I'm not a gearhead, but I know how to use a tire gauge. It's really not that hard - honest.

 

I kind of like that one. Is the guy the one who was Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave and Dave?

 

Just saw the one for Audi in which the little girl says her dad is an alien - love that commercial, especially the "See, I told you" look she gives the camera at the end.
