    "Game day bucket go boom"

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a really good idea for KFC to do some marketing to try and position themselves as a Sunday football watching staple. I don't think a lot of people think that way and it could be a nice revenue driver for them.

But, I just find the lady who makes the above statement funny or irritating, I'm not sure which. Her whole delivery and attitude, showing off her street cred and overall hipness over a few fried chicken wings and breasts.

All of these stupid McDonald's dollar menu commercials ... first off, I don't want to be anywhere near that damn hipster horseshoe playing girl after she's glugged down a couple of onion/cheddar burgers. Second off, I've never seen anyone hip inside of a McDonald's.

Going the other way, this one with Rory and Tiger is pretty fun:

Hate that thing. When is it ever going to go away?

As for Coke or Budweiser, advertising is part of how they got their brand profiles to the status they enjoy now. Advertising continues to be a necessary expense for profile maintanenace. It costs less money to maintain a high profile than it does to raise a sagging one.

    I love the game-day-bucket-go-boom girl. I don't know why.
It seems like the kind of thing I would hate, but I dig it.
    I think it's almost post-ironic.

I actually like the commercial in the same way I like a lava lamp. It isn't particularly interesting, but you enjoy looking at it.
Besides, a woman who enjoys watching football to that level is kinda hot.

Buy this truck, destroy the environment, "bring the world to its knees" and make the environment your playground to destroy at will:

I'm too lazy to go back and check if I bitched about this here...or on facebook.

The Buffalo Wild Wings commercial with the couple that goes to the friends house and they have babies:

She cheers LOUDER at the house than at the bar (where they went...to be LOUD!)

I tolerated Five Hour Energy commercials, but now that they are going after the college frat douche crowd, it's just, well, douchy.

Assuming this is the GEICO spot, I've just seen this today. That's really Eddie Money? Oh, God. I wonder what he got paid for that.

This goes along with the one of the gazelles wearing night-vision goggles. "We can see you Carl!" .... "Maybe you should go vegan. Hahahahaha!"
But Eddie Money is not quite as ridiculous. It's close, though.

Since I was already raising Kaleb's arms and yelling TOUCHDOOWWWWN JAWJAHHHH when he was five months old I don't understand why watching football with a baby around is considered so dull.

Both are better than Maxwell on the plane. Did she seriously just say that?
