    Pickleroll is ridiculous.
But the one where he high-fives the girl who says she has a lot of fans (with a very odd look on her face), then the other girl, who said she was just raising her hand, then the little boy, is pretty cute.

    That one's hilarious.

"I was just raising my hand."

    "... Oh."

The biggest of the many, many problems with this spot is the inherent conceit makes no sense: What kind of a waitress doesn't understand the context of "I'm the driver" at a bar? If you are going to make a left-turn play-on-words, it has to at least be plausible.

Oh dear god yes. Please put her in a straight jacket in a padded room somewhere.

After the first 100 or so times seeing this commercial, I finally got the message.

"Hey, I really want to impress this girl ... let's order Bud Lite!"

    What, Milwaukee's Best wasn't available?

Probably been mentioned ad nauseum but the Progressive commercial where "Flo" is set up to be some kind of dealer handing out discounts ...

Yeah, that's a great message to be spreading around.

That one's the latest in a series of ads by some sort of company (See how effective they are? I can't remember what they're for!) telling people they don't have to worry about their energy bill if they get the right whatever they're selling. The last one I remember before that had a guy beating the crap out of himself for wanting to turn up the thermostat.

With the tournament here, I see the same damn 7 commercials over and over again.

    Two bug me.
First, the Enterprise commercial with all of the college grads who were student-athletes. I find that kind of depressing, as if those are the only jobs they can land. Especially the guy holding up his Quincy Volleyball jersey. *HIS* jersey. Um....okay.

The Bud Light guy with that nasty beard confessing that his boys are there in case his on-line match date didn't work out. Maybe it's a generational thing but do women like these nasty beards?
