Updated thread - What TV commercial gets on your nerves?

Sorry for your waste of money but it does make me feel better that a commercial I hate is for a product that sucks.

"I ate the bones."

 

I note that one of the "I ate the bones" commercials features Dorien Wilson, who played Eddie Charles in the HBO series "Dream On."

Quite a fall from being a regular on a popular HBO series 20 years ago to having to take commercial work.

Also, I had wondered what happened to Dream On lead actor Brian Benben and then saw him last night on a rerun of Private Practice.

 

The latest round of Toyota ads are pretty irritating. There's the 'red, but not that red' couple, and then multiple ads with the 'Toyota Genie'. At the end of all of them, screenshots of the entire ad get rolled up into a ball and eaten by the Toyota logo while some annoying music plays in the background. Whenever one of these comes on I start twitching like Lewis Black.

 

Winner, winner, chick ... uh, nevermind.

 

I wish the guy in that Lexus ad would shove his luxury sugar up his luxury ass.

 

I've complained once, and I'll complain again: Will someone please put Burger King out of its misery! Man, I didn't think it could get much worse than the $1.29 dance party, but they've found a way. The store manager reminds me of Peter Griffin if he had Homer Simpson's temperament. It stinks that my quick dining options are limited where I live, otherwise I'd avoid Burger King like the plague just because of those commercials.

 

Space men don't eat burgers .... hello, sir.
