Not sure if this one's already been listed, but the toilet paper commercial where the little girl was playing "teacher" for her little sister and talking about how your "heinie (or however you spell it) will be happy." Then the parents come to the door and smile approvingly.

    Weird.

I'm absolutely in the anti camp. I fully support the death penalty for whoever came up with this ad

You should seek rehab about your crack addiction.

The breadsticks aren't that great, but the parma -- however the hell you spell it -- ones are amazing.

And IJAG, your avatar cracks me up every freakin' time I see it.

The latest AT&T Uverse commercial with the two teens talking and the boy doing the robot as the batteries run dead.

If I ever see that kid in real life I'd end up doing life in prison for choking the little bastard to death.

The Nissan Rogue looks like a pretty nice little crossover vehicle. And the commercials are so obnoxiously unrealistic I'll probably never buy one.

It's basically a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV or even a Ford Escape, only with the offensively obnoxious ads.

Budweiser's spots during the NFC title game -- the ones with Arnold -- are already getting on my nerves.

You know the M&M commercial that's been on forever where the female chocolate M&M is warned by a blonde at a party to stay away from Kristin the redhead because she'll "devour you"?

    A) Is she bisexual in the sense that she'll devour either gender of chocolate?
    B) Am I wrong in that I'm disappointed that Kristin doesn't devour the female M&M because, well, you know ...
    C) Do cartoon M&M's have sex organs to begin with? If so, do they have sexual response?
    D) Is M&M's suggesting we're all latent bisexuals since we eat all kinds of M&M's with impunity? Are they making a Freudian statement?

Sometimes, commercials that try to tap into a pop culture fad works — I point to various commercials that have used Youtube quite effectively. And other times, using a pop culture fad just falls on its face. Applebees trying to use GIFs to describe reactions to their new menu items is just a sad attempt at pandering. It really needs to stop, especially the "And I was all..." narrative.

    E) Is anyone else disturbed that the psychopathic female M&M just happily sent the male M&M to a painful, agonizing death?

I dont think it's a big deal. M&Ms are kind of like livestock. They're on the planet for one reason.

You can blame K-Mart and its GIF Christmas ads for that.
