I would love to know how AT&T shuts your faucet off. We know you can program the TV and the doors, and I'm sure turning the lights off is okay, but the faucet? Please tell me how we program that electronically and then link it up to a WI-FI system. Looks so easy. Probably takes 11 days for ATT to set up and a bajillion dollars a month per light switch.

Yep. My thoughts exactly. And I have seen this commercial about 4,000 times during the Olympics coverage.

Don't know if it gets on my nerves, but NBC had an ad last night that said more people watch NBC primetime than any other network. (What they didn't say was that they were watching the Olympics and NFL football, rather than the shows NBC was featuring clips from in the spot).

The Swiffer ad with lazy son.

The guy looks like he's 24? He doesn't need to be given a sweeper, his mama needs to kick his ass out of the door.

The one with the mixed-race couple and the dad has only one hand...wow, that's forced.

Oh my god, the Old Navy commercial that start running today (in heavy rotation, no less) is about the most obnoxious Ive ever seen. That's the one with the lady at the airport going into faux orgasmic fits over the passenger's jeans. Way beyond tacky.

Just saw that a few minutes ago during CBC's Olympic coverage. Beyond awful.

This doesn't quite fit the theme of the thread, but the promos for all the new programs NBC is running during the Olympics have convinced me that each and every program is a complete piece of shit I'll only watch if paid handsomely.

No shit. Terrible. Now imagine if your DVR freezes up at the very end of the commercial and every time you try to punch Live TV or rewind it goes right back to the spot where they play the stupid Old Navy jingle. Happened to me during the US hockey game the other day. I would have pulled my hair out if I had any.

I have really developed a visceral dislike of the Kraft Mac and Cheese commercial for the ninja-shaped pasta with the "Go, Ninja. Go, Ninja, Go!" song.

And if that shit costs a penny more than the regular macaroni, any parent who buys it is an idiot.

Those commercials are dreadful, with potpie guy and the two friends who are "coming back tomorrow" taking the cake.
