A Dr Pepper commercial keeps playing over and over and over on AMC.com. Some white rappers named Macaroni Moore. I don't care, I just to drink a dark, caffeinated beverage that makes me burp more than regular Coca-Cola.

So...Subway has just given up on being "healthy" huh?

No, of course, not! They have athletes promote their "fresh" subs.

Commercial in which the female call center employee doesn't realize she's talking to her twin sister. And who says "awesome sauce"?

Any Buffalo Wild Wings commercial featuring that annoying-as-hell guy with the gruff voice and glasses.

If BWW was smart, they'd realize everyone in the country will be annoyed by that guy after the first week of the tournament, then have a new commercial with somebody punching him out as he approaches to give advice.

Can I call BS to eHarmony's commercial where its spouting off stats including "most enduring marriages"? The website can legitimately boast the most marriages among dating sites (ignoring the fact it was among the first successful sites), but it has been around less than 15 years. I would be very surprised to see a significant amount of people who have been married 12-14 years who found their spouse on the site. I'd go further to say I'd wager a good number of the clients who wed have been married in the last 10 years. So how then can the marriage be "enduring" if none of them have reached the 15-year mark yet?

I'm not saying it's 100 percent true, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. Eharmony is completely different than other sites (at least, it was when I used it).

You have to fill out like a 15-18 page questionnaire before it'll let you create a profile, and even then, you can't just search for people. Your "potential matches" are given to you based on compatibility, determined by the questionnaire.

Anyway, they just put way more effort into it than simply allowing you to create a profile and indiscriminately troll the search function.

I saw that one AND an ad for something called a "flatizza" (NO MATTER WHAT YOU CALL IT, IT'S A FUCKING PIZZA SUBWAY) in the same commercial break. Shoot me.

Probably fewer that bust up in six months, would be my guess.

I'm more dubious of what they call "enduring." If they define "enduring" as lasting longer than five years, then OK, I bet they can prove that, but I wouldn't call passing the five-year mark enduring. If it is not getting divorced, then maybe it's like what Starman said, they have fewer that end it within six months.

Not for nothing, but I married someone I met on eharmony.

We weren't married very long, but we endured some serious shit. Point being, maybe with the compatibility matching they do, they weed out people less willing to fight through adversity.

    Very scientific, I know.

"Cruncha muncha, cruncha muncha, cruncha muncha, cruncha muncha, Fritos on my sub."

I swear, if I have a gun near me when that commercial comes on, I'm shooting the television.

Just FYI, the woman is not her twin -- the woman is her. It's the device the entire campaign uses, although it's pretty lame and I can see how the point could be missed.
