Fortune, the new product from Miller Brewing. It's a 6.9% alcohol brew, though I'm not sure it's actually "beer." Anyway, I don't know if this product is being sold nationally or regionally, so I don't know if the commercials are being seen nationally. But the commercials and their fake edginess are just awful.

I've seen these, but haven't paid much attention to them. The ones that are bugging me during the World Cup are the Bacardi commercials about how the company has gone through so much upheaval but keeps soldiering on. Blech.
Fortune seems to basically be like the Bud Light Platinum or Budweiser Black Crown. Just another higher-alcohol beer that probably tastes terrible and will give you even more of a headache than Bud Light already does.

I had one a couple of months ago. When it was cold for the first two sips, it seemed pretty good. But since I'm well past my chugging days, the warmer it got, the more undrinkable it became. Could not finish it by the end.

Apart from the connection getting wonky, the worst part about watching the ESPN feed of the World Cup is that royally stupid Epic Rap Battle commercial. I don't care if some people find them funny, the commercial needs to die, especially the announcer who rips his throat out shouting about how awesome this thing is.

One of these commercials, one of the first ones that was on, just sends a terrible message.
The guy is leaving the bar, probably a little buzzed after a few hours and beers. His young drinking days are done, and he knows when to call it a night. He's heading home around 11 p.m. to get a good night's sleep. He'll be a productive member of society tomorrow.
And then Mr. Fortune shows up.
No, Mr. Fortune says. You've not had enough. You can still drive. Go back in there, drink some of this higher-priced swill, and get shitfaced. You'll have the time of your life (and a DUI and probably get fired because you're sleeping off a hangover ... and maybe an STD from the skanky bar wench you boned in the bathroom).
The tagline should be "Miller Fortune: Alcoholism is awesome."

The car commercial with the Muppets gets on my nerves. Most of it is fine, but the little guitar riff in the beginning, when the family is sitting on the couch bored, sounds like the one from the Viagara ads.
Viagara to Muppets is an awkward transition, to say the least.

The British chick asking everyone how they wipe their ass has overtaken the shit-obsessed bears as creepiest toilet paper ad.

And, fuck you, makers of Candy Crush and all associated products. Every time I hear the little jingle that starts their commercials and the song-song "King. From the makers of Candy Crush..." I throw things at the TV.

Speaking of poo-related commercials, this one's been out there for a few years but is pretty good.

Not often you see a hot chick and poop in a commercial that isn't German.
Yeah, but that wasn't a commercial...that was art! Damnit!

The AT&T commercial with the catcher laying down has become the most tiresome commercial of the last month.
