Guess I won't be trying it then. No nom-nomming with my buddy like the dorks in the commercial.

The nom-nom-nomming spots are pretty bad, and so is the one for the two for $5 Big Mac ad.

I know this is the "on my nerves" thread...but I trashed Little Caesars before on here...so here is my compliment to counteract that.

    This one is funny.

I seem to remember someone on here works for the company that makes these spots...so there ya go! An attaboy! :)

I don't know that it "gets on my nerves," so much, but the current Mazda commercials featuring Mia Hamm certainly confuse me. An athlete who hasn't played a meaningful game in 10 years in a sport that is only followed once every four years. I really don't see the draw, but kudos to her agents.

The macaroni and cheese ad with Vanilla Ice fascinates me with the way it's able to tell a deep, enthralling story in 30 seconds.
First, we have Vanilla Ice. One time mega-rapper who has apparently blown all his money and now needs to make ends meet by stocking grocery store shelves. He resents his lot in life, clearly, but deep down is gratefully for his 15 minutes of fame -- especially since it helps him bang the occasional MILF who's high on nostalgia.
Speaking of which, the mom is kind of hot. She also seems to have a wild side. Not only would she suck on 2014 Vanilla Ice like a popsicle in August, she might have done the same to 1991 Vanilla Ice, which explains her enthusiastic reaction when she sees him. It sours when she realizes he doesn't remember her, but there's still a 70-30 chance she gave Ice her phone number.
And the son is the best part. His disgusted look at his mother's whoring antics says, "This is why dad left."

Not only that, the ad does not feature Hamm speaking one word, or even appearing on screen driving (or hell, leaning on) one of their cars. It's like she couldn't be bothered to roll down to the Mazda dealer and hold a soccer ball in front of a car for 15 seconds. Talk about money for nothing.

It's like they shot a 20-second commercial about Mazda cars, then stuck on 10 more seconds of an announcer saying, "Mia Hamm, woo hoo."

I can't wait for summer to officially end so we can stop seeing the Ford F-150 "summer blockbuster" commercials.

Exactly. Do we even know that Mia Hamm ever owned or drove a Mazda other than the one they presumably sent her for using her likeness?

Local spot from a car dealer: He's having a "Car-B-Que" and giving away bottles of "his" BBQ sauce with a test drive. This started in like May or June where he said it's a "limited" offer. I think they started with 191 bottles of sauce, the latest ad (3rd take I believe) the amount of sauce is still up in the mid 140s.
Yup, cause when I go to test drive a car...I want a bottle of BBQ sauce with the owner's mug on it to take home as a momento.
