Updated thread - What TV commercial gets on your nerves?

That commercial absolutely cracked me up. I laughed my ass off the first time I saw it. I love it when he gives the girl in the hospital a gift, and when he opens it its his own chocolate hand.

 

The commercial doesn't really annoy me, but I couldn't find anywhere else to mention this ...

Just realized that the old man in the Travelers commercial (the one where everyone rides in the umbrella) is the same guy who played Belloq in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

When he asks the kids with the bike "engine trouble?," I got flashbacks of "So, Dr. Jones, we see once again that there is nothing you can possess which I cannot take away."

 

Great stuff over there.

 

The guy who ate the volcano taco needs a nut punch, as does everyone else responsible for that Taco Bell ad.

That will be all.

 

But ... but ... she looks just like Phoebe Cates!

Every time that commercial comes on, I hope it gives a better look at the woman. I think she is absolutely gorgeous.

God, that is awful. Not only do the guys look like complete doofuses, one of the white guys appears to have come straight from the set of a bad 70s porn movie.

Such a bad, bad commercial that it would make me go out of my way to buy a product other than Hillshire Farms.

 

going bak a number of years. there was one with a singing cowboy w/ guitar on a stool in middle of a stage. he's singing, "doxidan, gentle doxidan, when nature needs a helping hand."

currently, the safe auto insurance ad with the three young adults jamming in their living room like they're rock stars.
