Spotify ad: "As parents, we think we know what's cool but we're usually way off. That's why I take my kids to Great Clips."

I can't decide if it is the most self-aware ad ever or the least.

“I was born with wings, but psoriasis swooped in to clip them.”

    A) Unless you’re Big or Tweety Bird, you were not born with wings.
    B) Psoriasis is not some sort of bird of prey that hunts your non-existent wings.
    C) Ccol, you dealt with your psoriasis. Now come correct on the dress and cowboy boots thing. Played out.

These elaborate ads for various prescription medications aren’t making them any cheaper, that’s for sure.

As someone who takes Jardiance, let me tell you it does NOT make you want to participate in elaborate flash mob dance numbers. I guess that looks better on TV than showing what it really does: make you pee a lot!

(It has lowered my blood sugar, though!)

    O O O Ozempic ....
Seeing the price is one of those "hold your nose and drink it" scenarios.
Regularity it no longer an operative word. Erratic is more applicable. But I have lost 35 pounds and my A1C is 5.6.

Those Harbo bears candy commercials— one and all.

Hopefully the one-hit-wonder band, Pilot, whose song Ozempic hijacked is making a few bucks from all those commercials.

Hell, with how much it costs, maybe they’re just paying the band with monthly doses of Ozempic!

I would have lost money betting that was ELO.

So a couple months ago, the phone commercial for AI was photoshopping your dog to jump higher, and photoshopping a fat, idiot influencer to jump higher on his dumb selfie.

Now we have AI that can write a letter to Syd McLaughlin, instead of a young girl using her own brain and imagination to write the letter.

Gee, this AI revolution sounds fucking awesome!

Yeah, I don't get the point of that at all. Is being lazy a selling point?
