And for equal time, here's a Sox game on Channel 32 ...

What do you mean Youtube doesn't have the Indiana Beach commercial with the singing crow? Massive fail.

    Anyways, here's the consolation prize.

Now that Empire has a toll-free number, it's just not the same.

The first time I saw this one I thought it was a little funny.
On repeated viewings it has gotten on my nerves -- the Chichi's commercials with the robot
"I want chicken and chichis" "I want tastebuds"

I find that the "800" doesn't take anything away from it, really.
By the way, I am not a native Chicagoan, but Eagle Man commercials make me wish I was.
One of the best/worst commercials I've ever seen.
    "I've got something for YOOOUU!"

The "thinking with your dipstick" Scot needs a taste of his own medicine.

I giggled at that one the first time I saw it because my dad's censored word he uses for dumbshit is dipstick, and he frequently refers to his workers (who are often working around machinery) as dipsticks. I can totally see him going around them the next time they screw up and put gas in the diesel tank and go, "You should have been thinking with your dipstick!"

Moving up the annoyance scale is that Buick Enclave commercial with the Billy Walsh-wanna-be director moving his hands around and speaking in tongues.

Even the blonde in the boots wiping the car with a drone aura like one of Robert Palmer's bandmates in the "Addicted to Love" video can't save this from annoying the bejesus out of me. This is a commercial trying to make an old-person's car brand cool -- but doing it totally without focus.

Which -- I guess -- is the idea.

Saw one last night that while doesn't necessarily get on my nerves, it certainly qualifies as one of the most absurd things I've seen.

    The Chia-Obama.

Make some green hair grow on a rather poor likeness of the current commander-in-chief.

    I kid you not.

No love here for the debt relief service spots that are made to look like news programs, complete with Presidential press conferences and 4-5 running threads across the bottom.

Good for Olive Garden for breaking that "no incestuous flirting on tv" taboo. About time.
