Would love to hear from all those who suggested those of us questioning Meyer's sincerity and motives should just take the man at his word.

Next time he pulls the drama queen routine, I guarantee there will STILL be people who believe the shit he's shoveling. Exactly how many times does someone have to lie through his teeth before he stops being taken seriously, even about serious matters?

Watching the PC on ESPN, I don't think any of them know how in the hell this is going to work out. They don't have any answer to the questions about how all of this is going to work. Very weird.

I so can't wait to hear Lane Kiffin's take on this when he goes recruiting.

Reporter: "Coach, you talk a lot about having gut feelings about things. In your gut, do you think you're going to be the coach of this football team come fall?"

Meyer: "Probably knew that question was coming. I do in my gut believe that will happen."

He seems to think he is.

Either way, he's a disingenuous, deceiving liar. Anyone who believes otherwise has only themselves to blame for getting repeatedly suckered.

Yesterday, he had to leave or die. Today, it's "full speed ahead."

    Then,

Q: "So, but no timetable in your head?"
A: "We're going to discuss all that after. I think the important thing was to get this thing going and go have a great bowl game...."

To be fair, I don't know he was paying attention to the last two words of that initial question. It was weird though. This whole thing is weird.
