    This is so strange.

I would so heart anyone with the guts to ask Foley if he is worried about a repeat of the Donnovan comeback tour, when the program slipped off into mediocrity in the wink of an eye.

I guess he can't very well say "as soon as this class is signed, then I will quit."

Well, he could ... but then UF's recruiting class would make Cumberland College look good.

Probably found out he couldn't keep his health insurance if he quit.

I want to see the Carlos Dunlap interview. "So when you heard Coach Meyer had a heart attack, did you feel personally responsible?"

At the PC, did anybody ask him what his 16-year-old daughter thought of his change of heart?

    Great question:

Q: Did a doctor advise you to quit coaching.
A: I'd rather not get into that.

Which is an informative answer in itself.

Basically -- and I know it's not that simple, but ... -- we pretty much went through all of this to be back pretty much where we were at 2 p.m. yesterday. Urban Meyer has some health issues, and he's probably going to be coaching Florida next season.

In a year of weird stories, this one is right up there.
