And let me elaborate, bottle service is what everyone wishes they could afford in Vegas. Yeah it costs $300 for a fifth of grey goose, but it comes chilled in an ice bucket with all the mixers you want. Delivered by your own personal waitress to your table, which is more like a couch in the center of the club. You are paying the money for the prime real estate and to be treated like a king.

Go to the M or the Venetian and bet using the new Cantor Gaming system with in-game betting.

    Beans,

If you want to treat your daughter to something besides gambling, clubbing or drinking, you can take her to one of the Cirque de Soleil shows if she likes that sort of thing.

I didn't think I'd give a shit about Cirque de Soleil, but the wife wanted to see Beatles Love. It was really awesome. If you like Beatles music, you will really dig it.
I liked the Blue Man Group show a little more, but both were outstanding.

Tell me why this place is great.
    You drink and gamble?
    You do that everywhere.
I'm not being a dick, just want to know.

On another note, I was out there a few weeks ago for a bachelor party and was struck by how expensive the gambling was. And we stayed downtown. My guys are degenerate crapshooters, and places I thought might have $3 games during off-peak times were $5, and many places I thought would be $5 at night were $10.

So much for catching a break with the economy. Sheesh.

Well, it's not really a place for gambling, although they do have video poker.
Crowd is good. Ambience is good. Juke box is awesome. Live music varies from interesting to good.
It's well known but still off the beaten path.
Not the place to go if you don't like your bars on the divey side, which you can probably tell from looking at the link.
If you like places like Pure or Tao or Ghostbar, the Double Down might not be your thing. The Double Down is definitely not upscale.
It's my favorite place in Vegas.
Also, the Ass Juice is over-rated, but the bacon martini should be sampled. It's disgusting.

    To clarify, it's bacon-infused vodka.
Meaning it's a bottle of vodka with raw strips of bacon in it.
Now tell me you don't know why that bar's great.

You don't consider $5 craps anywhere at any point cheap? Go trying finding that in Atlantic City outside of Christmas Eve.
