Vegas bound. Any ideas?

"don't act like a knucklehead..." that's a life lesson right there.

LJB -- haven't seen the dealertainers at IP, but duking my way thru Legends in Concert remains one of my all-time favorite Vegas memories.

LJB....are they still at $10 table minimums at the IP?? I've had some great evenings there (in a scary, smoke filled way), but if I'm playing $10+, it's not going to be at the IP. Always felt like Harrah's had REALLY missed the boat w/ the IP, but bumping up the minimums. It should be their low rollers "paradise."

$5 minimums. They used to have busty cocktail waitresses in skimpy kimonos, but I can report they have since cheapened up the outfits.

I am not recommending it by any means, well, unless you want to 'see how the other half lives' while you're there.

Or if you're bored and want to grind out a small profit playing poker against bad tourists and college douchebags with visible undergarments.

I "designate" one evening per trip, for just such activities. :)

It's always been a snakepit, not to mention a logistical nightmare.

Has long vied with the Riv for the "honor" of hosting the worst
    buffet on the Strip.

The place is a gong show.

I confess I do start yearning for that a little bit if I'm walking around the Wynn or Bellagio too much.

If I'm looking to go low, I'll go eat dinner at Ellis Island or have the 4 AM steak dinner at the Horseshoe.

When drunkenness reaches a zombie-like state, I believe I have been known to go to Bill's and have the $5.99 steak and eggs with $1 Newcastle drafts.

This thread was begun in January.
Did the trip ever take place?

Who cares. This is one of the best threads going.

I presume they changed the name from the Victorian Room?

Regardless, one of the great American tragedies is that Coast
let that delightfully-located property go into the hands of Satan.

I think orange juice and crab is the test of whether a buffet sucks or not. Or whether it is tolerable when sober.

Is the OJ prison-grade quality? Does the crab look a little tired? Does the roast beef have that horrifying rainbow effect on the surface?
