Vegas bound. Any ideas?

American Idol games were everywhere. Saw them at seemingly every casino. Just like the big WOF games. I swear, I couldn't find them anywhere last year and they don't have them in the Detroit Casinos. They have them in Windsor, so maybe it's just a Ceasar's/Harrah's thing.

Agree, and the fact it's still on the other side of I-15 makes it down the list of places to stay.

My buddy's going next month and returning to the Strat because he loves the $20 bottomless happy hour.

WHAT!? I might have to take a trip out to Vegas soon. It would be my first time after all.

i wonder what will happen with the stratosphere after the sahara closes. it'll be up at the north end of the strip all by itself.

they used to have a craps game there called 'crap-less craps'. maybe they still do. i played it once and it was the only time a pit boss ever said to me, "let's color you up while you've still got a profit."

An epic shame, as my long-time main squeeze loves it above all others . . . but, that's Harrah's. Death on two legs.

I think they still do. It is indeed worse than regular craps, but I stood in on a huge roll at a crapless table in Mississippi once. A rookie female roller could not stop hitting the 2/3/11/12, which of course makes big money fast.

They have crapless craps at Greektown Casino in Detroit, but I never played and therefore don't know where the casino gets the edge back.

Someone can surely explain it better, but I know a huge part of what makes crapless bad is taking away the pass line win for a come-out 11.

House edge on crapless, according to the Wizard of Odds site, runs about the same as roulette. But when you catch a table where the 2, 3, 11 or 12 are hitting, then it's payday. They had a bunch of tables in Tunica 4-5 years ago ... other than that, they're a rare find.

It's a great deal. It is. But the bartenders are total dicks to everyone with a happy-hour wristband, and they charge ludicrous prices for anything that's not included.
