    SOCALDUDE,

So we are no longer virgins. Took care of that the first Monday we were back. ... Had to try several batting stances and swing at several pitches before I finally hit the home run though.

That was, and remains, the only time we've been able to spend serious time alone from like 5 p.m. on.

Now that we are both home and back to work, usually I work in the evenings and her in the daytime. We rarely have the same day off each week and it is a miracle if we happen to land back-to-back days off at the same time without making vacation requests.

We are planning on going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Great Smoky Mountains for three days in September, so that will be a good private personal getaway for us.

    SAM MILLS,

I screwed up on the car. First, really did not need it as little as we used it. Second, should have known through getting one when I was in San Fran-San Jose that I did NOT need insurance. Third, paid the insurance in cash (when could have traced it with debit card).

If I go back to Vegas, that is one thing I am changing.

    RUMPLEFORESKIN,

Actually I liked a lot about the Vegas trip. Blue Man was awesome (getting involved in the preshow was coool too). So was Cirque Du Solell Michael Jackson. And the Grand Canyon. And had an awesome suite in a good location (thank God I did NOT stay at Circus Circus as originally scheduled). Saw the Eiffel Tower, Strat Tower, Pirate Ship at TI, Grand Canal, Bellagio Fountains.

Glad I went. So is she.

    It could have been worse.
-- Had our arrival flight been delayed coming from Nashville, getting to the Shania show could have been difficult.
-- The lost wedding card money never was ours. Never saw it. Never counted it. Never had it in my wallet. However, never budgeted for it either. So it didn't kill our spending or plans. Still did everything we planned on.
-- Rental car was a mess, from the non-needed insurance to barely using it because we walked so much. Could have (and should have) done without.

As far as getaways, I have had worse. ... Forgot ALL my diabetic stuff during a trip to Gatlinurg circa 2003. ... In the 1990s, took a family trip to Panama City Beach, only to have to turn around and drive to Gatlinburg having stayed less than one full day (hurricane hit one or two days later and wiped out the hotel we stayed at). ... In a different trip to Gatlinburg, family fan had two flat tires. In the pouring rain. With no cell service. On the Blue Ridge Parkway. ... Stayed in New Smyrna, Fla., one year. Constant construction at condo starting at 6 a.m. every morning. Also got attacked by sand mites (mosquitoes), which tore my legs to shreds. ... Stayed in PCB a different year when there was an algae outbreak. You could smell it from inside the condo. Also was so deep and murky, made it hard to get in gulf or even walk on sand close to it.

Is there a way to set up a Google News Alert for September? Asking for a friend.

You two guys are funny. :)

We'll figure it out. It's a different relationship to say the least.

Note to self ... never go on a trip with Central Ky Kid.

Double note to self ... the virgin Connie Swail is no longer the virgin Connie Swail.

Triple note to self ... wait ... enough of this shit.

FIND, NO, MAKE TIME TO FUCK CENTRAL KY KID!

THIS SHIT IS IMPORTANT TO A MARRIAGE! REALLY! IT IS!

FUCK, MAKE LOVE, BOINK, PORK, KNOCK BOOTS, TAP THAT ASS, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT, YOU AND YOUR BRIDE NEED TO DO IT AND OFTEN! ESPECIALLY NOW BEFORE THE KIDS SHOW UP!

    Here's a useful glossary of terms. http://www.uta.fi/FAST/GC/sex-scat.html

Yes. You should both be "tumbling ripe". And happy to be so.

Haven't posted here as long as some, but this is most awkward thread I can ever recall.

I'll be in Vegas three weeks from now. After reading Ky's recap, I almost feel like I should get a hooker to balance the equation.
