Vegas bound. Any ideas?

Everyone knows Vegas is all about the waffles.

 

Get 'em both. Live a little.

 

Simple. Our basketball team had a 12-game road trip that took us through Dallas, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Since I was assigned to write a travel blog, that made me a "travel writer" and I contacted the respective CVB PR departments for media access to spots in all three cities. As a former CVB PR person, I know the importance of purchasing liquor and made some great contacts that help offset the fact we went 1-4 on the trip.

 

Well, you certainly showed me. I meant visiting the pawn shop as a tourist, not pre-arranging media access through PR folks.

 

You stretch your expense account your way, I'll do it mine. First round's on me.

 

I am sitting in a room at the Riviera right now. Not nearly as shitty as I feared. Not a great location, but perfectly decent place.

 

Nothing wrong with the Riviera. A bit too far up the strip but there are worse places. You can also go across the street and check out the Circus Circus.

 

And check out the spot where Tupac got greased.

 

Is Slots-A Fun still there? Pounded back some ice-cold beers in that joint back in the day,

 

Yeah I forgot about that.
