Law enforcement in Zimbabwe doesn't seem too intimidating and assault weapons aren't too hard to get -- you'd think a few well-armed crews of independent gunslingers could fly over there with Uzis and smoke a few of the überclass poachers.

That would kick the adventure factor for the Big White Hunters up a few major levels. It's one thing to stalk lions and hunt them down, a whole other deal if there's a crew with Uzis coming to hunt YOU down.

You don't really care about Cecil unless you're willing to travel to Zimbabwe and smoke a few poachers.

 

Poacher hunting does sound like a true, courageous test. I bet if you threw $20 bills out of the back of a pickup, you could lure them straight to the kill zone.
