Leonardos-ex-boyfriend worked there the summer before I left for college. Free Leornardos every night. It was a revelation. And I just discovered Mary Angela's about a month ago. Another revelation. For a smaller town, the food in Richmond does not suck. At all.

Oh, and you can't mention Phil's without highlighting the vodka limeade. I couldn't get through August without it. Or those other eleven months.

An unexpected treat in Richmond was a Thai restaurant that makes its own ice cream:

    VODKA LIMEADE?

    Dammit.

Care Bear: There's a pizza place down in Shockoe Bottom (not Bottoms Up, everyone knows Bottoms Up). It's over by The Market, off Main Street. I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called...but I got a shrimp white pizza over there that was to DIE for.

IJAG-I think you are talking about "The Pizza Place," which I believe is the actual name, but they have pizza that kicks all pizza ass. I hope you have (if you haven't already) the chance to check out Pescados, way out on Midlothian Turnpike; the food is absolutely fucking delicious. Another to die for meal...sorry for the unnecessary profanity, but it's that good. :D

No no no. The Pizza Place is about a block from where I used to live. This is further down, down by like 23rd or 24th. I want to say it's in that building to the front left of The Market. It's somewhere down there. I'll ask my ex-managing editor, who took me there one time.

Okay. Thanks for the always helpful pizza recommendation. I went to Black Fin with my parents tonight to watch Redskins game. Holy shit. Bachelorette parties and cheesy men from Jersey. There was a "take it off" contest at the bar at 9pm. What the hell is going on? Waiter was hot, though. Would hit it.

    Crossthreading:

Oh, and those tossing out the cute one-liners here as you do on many threads? You really need to ask yourself - am I funny? Generally, you aren't. You have no sense of when that type of thing is appropriate and when it isn't.

you admit to being a douche and then attempt to give me a posting lesson?
