Just making a point at how good television has become.

I would rather watch two episodes of Lost or the Office than 95% of what is in the movie theaters.

Or what is on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights. There are few shows I follow anymore because TV has gotten so dumb and not just because of reality trash. LOST's intellect, writing and storytelling is far better than anything on TV today.

Yeah, Locke was bouncing around along with the other left behinders, and we pretty much saw everything they experienced during the flashes. Locke didn't wander off into the future by himself and get all the island's answers.

However, the process of arriving on the island dead might have caused a transformation and given him particular insight. Christian has the same kind of vibe. I gotta think we'll find out that Christian and Locke are either both alive or both dead, right? They've been through the same thing.

Also, Richard talking about seeing the Losties die was huge. Because if they died in a hydrogen bomb explosion, wouldn't Richard have, too? And Ben and Charles and Eloise the various Others who were there in 1977 yet continue to exist later? So that tells me the Losties wouldn't have died in the H-bomb but in some other way.

Also also, they seem to be going out of their way to let us know Alpert might not be the all-knowing magic man we've thought. Especially if he truly didn't know about the time travel. Maybe it's as simple as him being immortal and having been there a really long time. Not sure how that fits with him going back and testing young Locke, but my brain is starting to hurt.

30 Rock, The First 48, Bones, CSI Vegas (with Peterson) and Earl I think are all superior shows.

I have heard very good things about Mad Men, The Shield and a handful of others, but I just do not have the time to watch them.

I don't understand why Daniel or Jack aren't assuming they're supposed to set off the bomb. Hasn't everything else that has happened in the last few episodes - despite the Losties attempts to change events - happened exactly as they were supposed to? Ben was still saved and lost his innocence, Miles and mama were still sent off the island because the doctor got mad and threw a fit, etc.

Who knows how the last couple episodes will play out. I could be completely off-base on this, but based on what's happened, isn't it a possibility that everything is still occurring as it's supposed to? Whatever happened, happened? I feel like I haven't seen anything yet that throws me off from that track.

Although I'm sure there's something I may be missing, if anyone would care to tell me otherwise.

P.S. Really starting to dislike Kate. Wish she would go away.

It's my belief that The Incident happened, no matter what. Now, what The Incident means is up for interpretation. We can go by what we know from The Swan Orientation video and other stuff mentioned through storytelling that some electromagnetic field spun out of control and forced the Dharma Initiative to build a switch that must be pushed every 108 minutes to secure this energy.

How did it spin out of control? What caused it? Was it the Jughead H-bomb? Did that fail? Was it set off by Jack? Did people die? Did it change the genetic makeup of people (women not able to birth babies)? Did it blow up the statue and leave only the four toes? Did it pull down other planes? Did it create Smokey? Does it have something to do with Jacob's existence? Did it cause a timeflash that moved The Island? We could go on and on. The Incident, an incident, happened. We just don't know the details surrounding it.

    Here's The Swan video:

Hopefully those bemoaning a lack of quality programming are watching "The Unusuals" after "Lost." For my money, the best new show in a long time.

Enjoy it while you can AB. It's not going to be around much longer. Feel kind of bad for Lost's "Michael" though. Any chance he can get "rebooted" back to the island?

I'm sure he'll be back at some point. I mean, they'll have to do something to explain more about Walt right?

Has that been announced? Last I heard some spring debut shows, including that one, were still in limbo. Seriously, it's a great, great show. If ABC screws the pooch on it, someone else should give it a real go.

Or he could have seen them succeed with Faraday's plan, and thus disappear.

Alpert apparently is not fully aware that people can disappear on the Island, based on his surprise at Locke doing so.

I like it . . .but I really liked Life on Mars. Nothing like a Harvey Keitel-driven '70s cop show.

Castle, that other new one, is really great.
