Yes, and it was a good thing all those people from the North came down and helped dismantle the American apartheid that was so much a part of the local "cultural heritage" -- thanks, Viola, for getting your head blown off, and thanks Andy, Michael and Jim Reeb for getting beaten to death -- so that, 40 uears later, black folks could actually vote in Democratic primaries.
