Jay Glazer reporting Ryan Grant out for the year as well with severe leg and ankle injuries.

Flacco made the plays when needed. If not Cromartie made them for him. Boldin is a huge edition to Ravens.

Jets will have to win with D. Their ground and pound is more hope and pray without Faneca and Jones.

At end of day you can't win with 150 yds in penalties. Seems like refs were hell bent on calling def holding. Wonder if it is a new edict from league for this year.

"Doing it with D" just got tougher for the Jets. Jenkins has a torn ACL and he is out for the year.

They made it last year to AFC Championship without Jenkins last year but that said D would be much better with him.

Right now biggest problem is Cromartie.

Has it EVER occurred to you guys that the Jets really aren't that good? Rex is doing the same thing that his daddy did when he was a coach. And like his daddy, he knows nothing about generating an offense.

It seems like almost every post about the Jets on this thread says the same thing- Good D but very suspect offense.
    That was evident last night.

Schefter says 10-to-12 weeks at least:

Also, Bob Sanders has a torn biceps tendon (in the other arm) and is out "indefinitely":

Boom, it's the Ryan mantra. Always has been. I just watched while people fawned over Rex and all the BS he spews. Jets Football. Give me a break. The franchise hasn't won shit since 1968 and that was a long time ago. I like the way he talks a good game but the team isn't that good. I'm glad they lost by one point. I'm glad that on their last offensive series they were a yard short. That's foreshadowing their 2010 season.

Doesn't matter ... placed on IR just now.

"Always has been" is a body of work of 2 years. Ryan may end up hoisted on his own pettard but for now he is good for the NFL in a league that has become a tad to staid.

The Jets as they are now remind me of the old AFL days. It was fun to watch.

He's good for the NFL because he's in New York. Put him in Atlanta, he'd come off like Jerry Glanville.
I don't know about the old AFL days. They have a long way to go in that department.
